Material / Specs (as listed)
- Aluminum body, black finish
- Single-piston design
- Inlet/outlet: 25mm
- Listed pressure rating: 15-25 psi, with two springs included
What's included (as pictured)
- 1 x blow-off valve
- 2 x springs
- 3 x bolts
- 1 x vacuum hose
Important: vent-to-atmosphere
This valve vents to atmosphere (that's where the "whoosh" comes from). On a MAF/MAP-metered engine like the Civic 1.5T, air the engine has already measured is dumped instead of recirculated. That can cause a rich stumble or stall when you lift off, and it can trigger a check-engine light. A tune is recommended to run this valve properly.
